Santa Rosa: Taqueria Las Palmas

Well, we finally know what all of the fuss is about. After reading rave reviews about Taqueria Las Palmas from several reliable sources, we scouted out the little restaurant located behind a Greyhound Bus station and were not disappointed. No wonder our local Wine Country chefs head here when they get a craving for Mexican food! Above is the #10 with a carne asada taco and a chile relleno.

This is a suiza quesadilla with steak. It had plenty of steak as well a superior amount of cheese with sour cream and guacamole in it too. We like to order quesadillas everywhere we go that serves them - our theory is that if you can't make a great quesadilla, then you shouldn't be in business. We are happy to say that Taqueria Las Palmas makes an excellent quesadilla!

The space is clean and bright and the food is made to order from the freshest ingredients.
